Vincenzina Vitale is a Researcher (RTDA) in Statistics (SECS-S/01) at the Department of Social Sciences and Economics, Sapienza University of Rome. From 2019 to 2021, she was a Research Fellow in Statistics (SECS-S/01) at the same department.
For the previous three years, she was a Research Fellow in Statistics (SECS-S/01) at the Department of Economics, University of Roma Tre.
In June 2013, she took her PhD in Statistical Methods for Economics and Business, XXV cycle, at the University of Roma Tre.
She is a full member of the Italian Statistical Society (SIS). She took part in many international conferences and is the author of several articles published in a wide range of peer-reviewed international journals (International Journal of Approximate Reasoning, Social Indicators Research, Annals of Operation Research, Spatial Statistics et al).
His research interests focus, mainly, on fuzzy clustering and spatial fuzzy clustering, on the analysis of multivariate dependence by means of Bayesian Networks (BN) and on machine learning in the context of Bayesian Networks.
