Stefania Mangano, researcher in political and economic geography at the Department of Political Sciences (DISPO) of the University of Genoa, has carried out research both in Italy and abroad on tourism, environment, protected areas and cultural heritage. She wrote several essays and articles in Italian and foreign scientific journals. She published two books with Carrocci: Turismo e tempo libero nelle aree protette. She teaches Political and Economic Geography in the BA Course in International and Diplomatic Sciences, Geography of Tourism in the BA Course in Science and Geography of Cultural Heritage and Tourism in the Master Course in Modern Languages and Literatures for Cultural Services.
